Hi
I manage to install oem Bluetooth module to my rcd510 radio
Unfortunately I can't really get it going properly
When I search for new Bluetooth device I can see it on my phone Vw phone but I can not operate with my steering wheel buttons
When I select phone from my Mfd the menu just freeze and I can't not operate
I have to unplug the module to get it back to normal
Anyone ideas?
Thanks

As there may be a coding/adaptation issue you'll need to post a full unedited VCDS Auto-Scan of whatever car it is you have.

Depending on the particular BT module variant and RCD510 variant, the RCD510 could be picky about what BT does it play nice with.

Since you didn't mention anything about what car, what model of RCD510 and BT you have, I can only theorize there could be a difference in comparable firmware levels between the radio and BT. But the BT could be faulty by itself...

Is the BT module 9W2 or 9W7? Only the latter one has the full features. 9W2 is stripped down version and all functions need to be done through mobile.

But, autoscan first please as been asked. Without that impossible to say anything and all is just guesswork.
