UWE, your probably right but without a wire diag(need to get), don't know if the turbo boost is tied into that???, might be but all have since gone.

Again am a little miffed for dealer not clear all if they are from original problem. Then some neophyte such as I come in 6 months later and think this is all new, and in Fairness it might be knew as they never cleared it.

Many systems once corrected codes are dropped later on, again everyMFG plays the game a little different.

Jack stated SSG, cannot find the acrynm for that yet, if factory manual in glove box, I look at a lot of them, mostly good for wiping your JACK., sorry JMO. That is why I ask those questions here as the answer might be a little CRISP, but I can trust it.

So willing to read SSG, but when I click on it nothing happens, so have no idea.

Also thanks for then heads up on the PNG/JPG, will try and get that stuff today.

Larrymore you should know I am collecting data as always first to surmise to help, so when was this aforementioned work procedure performed?

Would you be so kind and make a screen shot of Mode 9 data?

Larry: photos.google.com doesn't seem to support embedding pics. But step one would be links that actuall work and neither of the ones in the two posts above do.

Forget Google Photos. It's not forum-friendly at all.

Jack, no problem, but was wondering is this for a problem you surmise, or just part of cataloging data for further use, all good in any event.

But you asked if this car had been modified and I doubt it, could be wrong. Had 49,000 miles on it in about 2 years so my guess a daily long commuter or distance sales car, as did not have any trinkets that normally go with folks juicing it up.

Still investigating Larrymore..........

Have you tried zeroing the maintenance interval more than one time in cluster 0x17-10- pull down menu ADP for resets?

Did you try a default of 0x17 by re-coding?

https://forums.ross-tech.com/showth...-on-cold-start&p=149259&viewfull=1#post149259

Almost 400 posts and I still have to do the CODE tags for you?
rolleyes.png

The problem is fairly obvious:
IDE03349-FIX: Max. distance until next mileage-related inspection 32200 km
IDE03350-FIX: Maximum time until next time-dependent inspection 730 d
IDE03351-FIX: Distance covered since last mileage-dependent inspection 36000 km
IDE03352-FIX: Time since last time-dependent inspection 713 d

IDE03351 is greater than IDE03349.

Start VCDS.
Click [SRI Reset].
From the drop-down, select the second option (both ESI and FIX). <- I think you've been missing this step.

Then click [Perform SRI].

Jack, can't say for sure as I tried a lot of stuff.

But did try and turn all areas back to zero thinking I could then write in my own oil change data but several of the boxes and the one you mentioned refused to accept that.

But still new to me and can go back doing the adapt part and see what happens.

Was mostly just happy to get the wrench gone, but maybe now can concentrate on upgrading my skills some more.

Maybe try using something non zero related to time resets...........?

Time rests with no time left result in a reminder?

Is there a default value screen for what is typical available or have you tried using the reset SRI function in main VCDS screen?
