Enable TPMS on Vw Fox 2018

Hello to everyone! I have a Volkswagen Fox Highline 2018. I want to enable TPMS function. I have enabled "TYRE PREASSURE WARNING, YES" byte on instrument cluster long coding helper with no luck.

I know I have to enable some byte on ABS BRAKES long coding helper, but the probem is that ABS lng coding helper does not shows the description of each byte so I dont know what byte I have to enable. The ABS BRAKES part number is 5U0 907 379 D and component is ESP9.0i front H03 0005

The ABS BRAKES current coding is: F1DC908D212403C68F1B09708452C0400D03

If someone can help me, I will be very thankful.

Without having seen the full scan, a wild guess, F1DC908D212403C68F1B09708452C0400D04
But it would be good to install TPMS button as well to reset the warning.

Hi! I will make a full autoscan so you can see. This model resets the TPMS warning from the instrument cluster options. Does not have any reset button. I ill upload the full autoscan in next minutes!

Try the 04 at the end, that usually works on PQ25 ESP9.0i

You won't know if the ABS module even accepts the coding until you try.

If it accepts the coding you do want to make sure there aren't any new fault codes and I would compare both blockmap and the Adp map from before the coding to another set of maps after the experimental coding to see what changed. Maps are explained here: http://www.ross-tech.com/vcds/tour/controller-channels-map.php

For example, if you were to able to confirm Adv measuring value [*IDE04939-IDE02955*] Tire pressure monitoring display - System status changed from Not available due to specific system -to-Available I'd call that a success. However, if that group, in addition to any other groups related to TPMS, do not change I'd make sure to restore the coding to the factory value before driving it.

If it rejects the coding entirely any number of things are possible. This ABS module may not support TPMS, the coding may be incorrect or the coding may require additional bits or channels to be enabled simultaneously.

If the byte is 16, the bits 0 and 1 are checked. Should I leave them checked?

I enabled bit 2 on byte 17 with bit 0 and 1 checked and coding was rejected. Do I have to leave bit 2 checked and the other two unchecked?

I have done both things: change coding to 07 and to 04, both coding rejected. Any ideas?

I’m from Argentina, and know that this exact model in brazil has this función enabled.

Hi! Here in Argentina there is no one who has the scan. I also thought: to enable bit on ABS long coding, do o have to enable some long coding no the CAN GATEWAY?

Try to activate bit 1 and 2 in byte 16, and then bit 2 in byte 17. It should work. Bit 1 is not desribed but it takes a part in tpms.

So, my car has checked

bit 0 and bit 2 on byte 16
bit 0 and bit 1 on byte 17

So, what I have to do is to leave them checked, and also check bit 1 on byte 16 and bit 2 on byte 17??

Hex value for byte 16 is 0D, it has bit 0, 2 and 3 Checked. What do you think??

Ive no idea what is bit 3 for, but just ad h02 value to the byte, so it should be 0F.
