My 2004 JETTA TDI BEW has a not start issue here’s the basics
-Replaced;
-Tank pump
-High pressure/vacuum pump
-Crank position/speed sensor
It WILL run if given a shot of either. And I performed a compression tested #1 420psi #2 420psi #3 375psi #4 380psi I have looked at the cam and there are no holes in my lifters the even wear all around hens the compression. Now having said all this my HEX-V2 unit pulled up;

01314-Engine Control Module
013- Check Memory-Intermittent

Am I looking at the “109” relay issue or something typical for these cars? It has plenty of fuel pressure in the system. Hey send me a direction! V/R Dono

01314 in the ABS is just the ABS saying, "Hey, I've heard the ECU is unhappy about something." This is not what's keeping your engine from starting.

Given the electrical fault on all four glow plugs and the lambda heater, I suggest digging into the wiring diagrams to see what these things might have in common.

My Bentley Publications service manual gets here tomorrow. You cant do anything without schematics anyhow. I figured someone would have been through this exact thing. I have fuel under about 60ish PSI to the Vac/Fuel pump. unless there is a specific way you bleed the fuel system it seems like an electrical complainant failure for sure. Once my book is here and i have a crack at it ill give you an update.

I've been working on this in the time I have available. So far I've replaced the following parts;

- Cam position sensor
- Crank Position sensor
- Glow plug harness
- Glow plug relay
- relay 100
- Relay 109
- power distribution box atop the battery
- I OHMS tested all the injector connections from the ECM to the cannon plug they all have continuity.

Here is the latest scan from my car. granted at the time I started the battery was low. I turned the charger on shorty after so there are some low voltage readings.
If anyone can make heads or tails of the data please feel free to enlighten me. my next reluctant step is to send the ECM out for a check up. I just want to be sure its not a common issue somewhere prior to spending the cash.
