I have a 2000 Eurovan (FWD) with a 01P DNF transmission and TCM 01P 927 733BF.

The transmission is all busted up inside and cannot be repaired, but all I could find is another 2000 Eurovan (also FWD) with a 01P DRG transmission and TCM 01P 927 733BC.

If I use this DRG transmission with the TCM (with BC postfix) from the donor vehicle, what do I need to do in terms of programming with VCDS?

I have been itching to buy a Ross Tech HEX-V2 since I got this vehicle, and will do so as soon as money permits, but would like to know what to do in this case.

Thanks, and my apology if this had been discussed before. I just couldn't search very well.

There's nothing that can be "programmed" on those transmissions except the kick-down adaptation.

Although you should certainly have VCDS, I don't think this is the right reason to buy it.
