Hi, anyone know the difference between canc and cand, apart fro 190hp vas 163hp?
Both are 2.7tdi

Well it appears that when looking at the engines construction the cams HPP or the EDC17CP14 controllers they are the same being EU5 & even same turbo charger or injectors other than for rated output, right?

Thanks Jack, only difference I have found is the ECU, otherwise they seem to be same, can anyone confirm?

The first three letters of a 4-digit VW engine code denote the mechanical design and the last letter denotes the power output. The difference in output is from the software in the ECU.
