    Any news about this...?

I think that we would need receiver 3Q0 963 513, remote 3G0 963 511, wiring harness for receiver (for LIN, +12VDC, ground) and antenna for receiver. Am I forgetting something...?

before May/2016 part numbers are different but I am not sure, that's why I suggested you to check with an online, updated ETKA.

anyway yes, that is the shop list.

Yes, I get that double-check would be necessary, that's why I was hoping that golfi_vend would have enough spare time to maybe help me out...

As I was checking from one online source, I found that 7N0963513B would be the receiver for 2016 7H Transporter.

EDIT: Maybe that was wrong, at least https://www.oemvwshop.com/ lists the 3Q receiver for 2016- models. 7N is for -2015 models.

the official ETKA says the parts changed from May2016. my best bet is both pre and post 05-2016 sets would work as long as you match the set.

I mean, do not buy the pre-may remote and the post-may receiver cause they would not talk to each other.

I have an extra remote that I could sell, let me check the part number, I'll let you know.

    Promise is a Promise.

    Remote:
You would need matching receiver and remote.
    Receiver: 5Q0963513A and Remote: 5Q0963511
    or
    Reveiver: 3Q0963513 and Remote: 3G0963511 or 3G0963511A or 3G0963511B

    Wiring(Connector for telestart: 6Q0972706 and wires: 000979009E)
1- Power from fuse SC54, same fuse as for time
2- LIN to Webasto pin T6au/2, Wire for webasto connector would be 000979009E and seal 3B0972742B
    6- GND

Mika_M, slightly off topic but I think the Webasto in your friends van currently does not preheat the engine (before starting) with that coding. It works only as cabin heater. To preheat also the engine using the timer (and in the future remote) you need to change coding from 4C01 to 4801 (or with remote 5801).

Thanks, that's a good tip! Didn't go in to digging coding, when I did the auto-scan. But will definitely change this to pre-heat engine also.
