50 mA strikes me as still a bit on the high side. That's 1.2 amp-hours per day. Not horrible, but would still be a dead battery after ~2 months.A 12 hour parasitic draw test was at .05 amps.

Please tell us about this place.Seems the battery wasn't the issue after all. After much testing and learning about my car it has been isolated to the access/start module on the steering column. There is a steering column lock actuator fault N360 that was popping up every time it didn't start.
It is a common issue with the 2005-2011 A6 and Q7. Audi wants to change the complete steering column but there is a place who will refurbish the module at a much better price.
