Hex-Net with no lights at all

Have been using Hex-Net happily for months', both wireless and wired and with both PC and iPhone.

I disconnected the battery yesterday while the Hex-Net was still plugged in, and can now get no response from Hex-Net. I have tried both wireless to iPhone and wired to PC routes. Mobile App is version 1.0.6, and VCDS for PC is version 18.9.

Is there a fuse in the unit? Is there another way to trouble shoot the unit?

Does it light up when you plug it in over USB?


edit, I missed the wired part:
I have tried both wireless to iPhone and wired to PC routes.

Did you try it on USB only, Not USB + CAR ?

Hi Santos, Yes - I have it plugged into my PC now by USB cable and it is not connected to the car.

Lets eliminate all the variables here, remove the computer and car, try plugging it into a known good usb charger, like the kind of wall charger you would use for a cellphone. Do any of the LEDs come on?

Just done - none of the LEDs comes on.

Hi Douglas,

The team didn't find any evidence of internal damage upon inspection so they replaced the interface under good will warranty. You should have an email from Orders with a FedEx Tracking number. The time stamp on that email was 11/29/2018 4:58 PM Eastern.
