From autoscan we'll see what is the cars factory model year, even you got the car 2015 it could be factory MY 2016. The model year on VAG cars usually changes after week 22. So if your car is manufactured after that time it's next year model already.

You need to verify with Audi if the ASI activation is valid for your car, because the code is one time used. If the factory server rejects the activation the code is useless after that.
