Touareg 7L xenon to Bi-Xenon retrofit

Hi

I have a 2006 Touareg 7L with single Xenon headlights.
An after market supplier has brought in Valeo Bi Xenon headlight assemblies.

So as far as I can tell, most if not all requirements are in place for xenon lamps. Legally and electrically.?

Can I assume that I can push the new assemblies in, and change a few codes via VCDS to make it all nice?

my current assemblies are badly crazed on lenses and adjustment mechanisms have perished.
