hi,

i am new here on the forum.
i shall introduce me ASAP.

But on this moment i have a little problem with my wife's car..
it's a golf 7 station from 2015 Highline.

i've bought her a RVC camera (highline)

so i conectect behind de radio pin 6 and 12

red cable +12v

and can high an can low.

coded the camera like it should in the 5F.

but when i go into the 6C module and i want to code it the whole codingstring stands on 0000000 (it's brand new),when i would like to adjust it, it refuses the coding..

on this moment i have no image on the screen en no logo that flips open..

has someone maybe the securety access code?

sorry for my bad english but i am from belgium

'High' backup camera's need to be calibrated using a calibration tool behind the car. Also it probably need parameters, which VCDS can not do. Either way, this is a retrofit you need a third party for.

You still need the calibration hardware that you set up behind the car. Its not a software issue.

Can't fix it with VCDS. Need other tools. Google, you'll find the right answers.

Sorry not able to tell anything else, I don't wanna discuss other tools on VCDS forum.

But first before anything else. Clear all DTCs and get a new autoscan after that here. We'll see what are the actual errors. It looks like there are some old rear light etc. errors which probably from the installation but are not valid anymore.

You need to use another third party tool to paramaterise the camera for this car. If you have a genuine tool then ask their community for help. As mentioned above VCDS cannot help you with this.
