Ok so first you have to set the dials and then mileage etc?

Only the variant selection if you want the center dial.

You can change the boot screens and car graphics later.

Clear story. Have you got the steering wheel fully working?

Unfortunately no. With the holiday's and whatnot, I haven't messed with it much. I did however get the CarPlay fully installed and working.

Ok I see. Yes i see carplay etc functions were activated by APG. Very good company. Do a lot bussiness with them.

I try to figure out how to get the steering wheel working. Maybe need clockspring from TTRS?

Clock spring from ttrs wont fit, its totally different.
All retrofitters who know how to do it, need to modify steering wheel and its wiring.
You dont need to mess with coding or clock spring.
I guess that module from Ali is the answer.

I already ordered that module from Ali and it does not work. The only option is modifying the wheel and clockspring.

Little bit of an update here. I finally got around to installing the USB ports for CarPlay and Android Auto in the center console.

Step one was to remove the glove box so I could route the wiring from behind the MIB into the center console.

Here you can see where the MOST (orange) and Info cables are going to the cluster, and the new USB port cables(red, black) are headed towards the center console.

Here is the routing of the USB port cables before being wrapped into the loom.

And then wrapped with the factory loom.

The cubby in the center console has to be replaced as well, due to the USB port box being larger than the original MDI cable interface.

While I had the console out, I also added in the LED cupholder ring. This was tapped into the ground and 12v illumination wire for the 12v outlet.

and wrapped....

And then a few pictures after install with CarPlay working, and Google Maps.

Only by the original owner hosting them somewhere different than Photobucket...

You'd think people would have learned not use Photosuckit when they broke much of the internet several years ago.

Not entirely sure what connection there is between the title (and intent) of this thread and your question, but perhaps check the values of these channels in your BCM

IDE06507-MAS13125-Button in center console-Function of button 1> Start-stop
And:
IDE06507-MAS13129-Button in center console-Function of button 2
IDE06507-MAS13132-Button in center console-Function of button 3
IDE06507-MAS13135-Button in center console-Function of button 4

Don

I think my question is very relevant as the OP fitted a steering wheel with the stop start & drive select buttons which need to communicate with the car somehow through the slip ring into the car. Nothing to do with the BCM values
