I am newbie around so I will apologize in advance for any inconsistencies in the post. I hope someone can help me with this.
I have a problem with my Passat b62010, 1.6 TDI bluemotion. It is losing power, and an indicator has started flashing during drive - something called Diesel engine pre-glow, if I am not mistaking.
Actually I had a similar issue last winter and repairman has solved it - or it just went away on its own, not sure, because it appeared a once after a visit. Apparently he cleaned up all faulty code, had put in some of fuel cleaner and send me to have a 40km ride in 4th gear on motorway. All was good until few days ago when temperatures dropped - not to much around here winter is mild, so the coldest morning was 3C (40F).
I think this is as far as my knowledge goes.
