Good day to everyone. I am having issues with a 2010 Audi a4 2.0. The car was purchased 6 months ago with a bad CVT transmission. The bad transmission was removed and a 2013 8 speed tiptronic and rear differential was installed, converting it into a Quattro. A 2015 engine was also installed at the same time. The car was taken to a local Audi dealership to have the transmission programmed to the car. After much ado, the technician told me that I needed to buy a new ECU that matches the engine/ transmission combination that was installed. A new ECU was installed and the dealership still could not program the transmission, saying the car kept rejecting all that they tried. The car was returned to me and the 8 speed automatic transmission was removed and a 2010 6 speed tiptronic transmission (LML) was installed with its matching rear differential. The car was taken back to the Audi dealership and after many failed attempts at programming, they removed all the computers from the car and installed them in a known “good“ car of same year to have the test car program the computers. No help. As they tell me, their equipment still indicates that all the programming is incorrect for the car. The dealership also said that Audi Corporate won’t release the source coding to them to aid in programing the computers. Sounds like they have no idea how to program a car that didn’t come straight off the assembly line, but I have really have no idea. A copy of the latest scan done on the car is shown below. There are no copies of previous scans done before the modifications from original with CVT transmission. Looking for anyone’s help on how to get this car to accept all of the modifications done to it. I have searched this and different forums and the internet looking for information, but so far has been no help. I am sure this isn’t the first time that an Audi has been modified from original. Thank you for any help or direction that can be offered.
