VCDS-Mobile Incorrect description

Hi Guys,

First post here. I need some help when using VCDS-Mobile. I dont know if I am doing something wrong or what is up. When I scan the engine for fault codes I get the wrong faults being logged. Example below. I know there is a low fuel pressure at rails fault and the car goes into limp mode but when I scan it the fault code it does not correlate with the description and the Mileage is different for each fault? When I google "VCDS fault 5211" the first post to the Wiki site says Fuel Rail/System Pressure. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the application on my Samsung phone.The fault has not yet returned to confirm if this fixed it. Should the mileage not reflect the car being scanned mileage?

Can you please post a complete un-edited Auto-Scan? It'll include some header information necessary to confirm what's going on.

I've seen Mobile have some difficulties with freeze-frame data, as you see here, but it's usually picked up the right DTC descriptions for me.

and VCDS desktop scan would be helpful. I think OP may be confused between UDS DTC numbers and standard VAG DTC numbers.

Thanks for the autoscan. I was incorrect in my presumption, and you were right on the money. UDS manufacturer code 5211 for EV_ECM30TDI0118R0907401J is fuel rail/system pressure: Too Low.
Shaun will have to look at this issue when he gets back from vacation next week.

Hmm, I'm seeing

5211 - Fuel Rail/System Pressure
P0087 00 [000] - Too Low
Intermittent - Not Confirmed - Tested Since Memory Clear

But this is with a newer dataset. Can you try switching your interface to the beta update channel in VCIConfig -> Advanced -> Update Channel
and then download the newer dataset Updates -> Check for Updates.

Please post your results with that dataset.
