Checking a MAF at idle is, IMO, of little value. It varies too much based on engine temperature and parasitic loads. If you're trying to diagnose a possible bad MAF, log it trough a full-throttle run in 2nd or 3rd gear.

The engineering problems are likely insurmountable. It would be like proposing to land a rocket booster section on a barge floating in the middle of the ocean.

So I did the log with the second gear and third gear pull the map seems to be responding fairly linearly I am having random nights too serious misfires under load around 3000 RPM and sometimes at and sitting for a minute or so the car will stumble quite a bit on initial load acceleration from stop not bad enough to set the check engine light but it does flash and itís on cylinders one and four I have replace the coils any thoughts would be appreciated , Fuel pressure and duty cycle seems to be good .Long-term fuel trim is up around 13 1/2 so itís Rich for some reason

What's the peak value you got from the MAF log?

170 sounds about right for a stock motor (no "tune").

It has a eurodyne stage one tune So 18 or so pounds of boost . I cleaned up the maf gently as best as I could with compressed air and now my long term fuel trim is down to around nine , I am living in the UAE and I ship the car over here I donít know if the heat might have anything to do with it but it was fine until about a month ago when it started acting up Iíve been chasing it for a while not really convenient to get to a car dealer here I do have vag com , I wish it would throw a hard code but itís not
