Tonight my interface booted with two beeps and the VCDS Mobile screen showed
Warning: Configuration recovered from backup



Reason for concern? Is there anything I need or must do in order to resolve this problem and prevent it in the future?
Apart from that, and the issues I already reported, the interface is working fine.

It can happen if you unplug it while it is saving configuration data to file, such as if you toggle it to AP mode and then unplug it immediately. You can make the error go away and reset the configuration to default by doing a long button reset (hold the red button down for 50 seconds).

Yes, it might happen that I accidentally hit the button when unplugging the OBD extension cord.
