I am looking to disable the check of if the brake pedal is depressed before allowing the release of the electronic parking brake.
My understanding is that this was possible on pre-MQB platform cars but I find no mention of it for vehicles such as my Passat. I have managed to find an adaptation channel in my ABS module named 'brake pedal evaluation' but it's already 'not active'. Does anyone have any ideas?
