Jetta 2011 TDI;
No ignition key or anyway to start the car manually as far as I am aware.
Basically what I did was accidentally disabled bit 3 in one of the immobilizer options trying to get my keyless to work and I forgot to turn it back on or thought it was fine since the car was already running. Turns out I turned it off and the button doesn't do anything at all now, can't turn the instruments on, can only lock and unlock and everything else besides turning "on" the car. I can't get back in with VCDS to simply turn it back on since the car needs to be "on" to read any codes.
I tried resetting ECU which seemed to work because I can no longer roll down windows with my key fob, unfortunately the button still doesn't work. I guess my only option now is to tow it to the dealer and have them deepthroat me for a simple mistake...
If anyone knows what I can do that'll be great, even if towing is my only option should I tell them I simply turned it off and they can force their way in and simply turn it back on?
Why would there be no alternative to turning on the car besides a button, flawed system.
Other than that the only codes I pulled were all voltage too low and insufficient voltage, I was thinking telling them that. Literally all my codes we're electrical ones...
