ABS Coding after AWD Swap- MK6 GTI

Wondering if anyone on here could help, I have converted a mk6 gti to awd and am in the final stages of getting the thing on the road. I am able to communicate with the awd module but am not sure how to code the ABS. I tried to copy the coding from the car the awd stuff came from but it would not accept it, said it was out of range.

Also the engine control module has a check box for the AWD, but will not let me save the coding with it selected, it gives the error 31:request out of range

Any insight?

I did not get a full autoscan of the donor car before it was taken apart

I still have a majority of the parts from the car that was not used in the awd swap, I dont know if that helps at all.

We did scan a mk6 golf r that we have here that was not the car the parts came from (all parts used in the conversion where from a 6 R) and here is the coding that was saved:

So you need to fix the TMPS error and the gateway error only?

In your installation list, you have "4C-Tire Pressure II -- Status: Not registered 0001", which is possibly incorrectly marked in the Gateway installation list???

I think it needs to be ticked in the list? It looks like it can see the "module", but is upset it's not selected in the Gateway Installation list. It may be the cause of the ABS fault code for the TPMS too.

Could there could be some incompatibility between the ABS and the AWD???

The car has not been driven yet so it does not throw and errors at this time. I am trying to sort out all the coding before I go and drive the car. As of now I was able to turn on the awd setting in the can-bus module and communicate with the awd module. I still need to get the ABS coded for the awd and the engine module to accept the "awd installed" coding change, but both just give me the error 31 when trying to put in any coding relating to the awd.

i have done a 4motion retrofit on passat b6 and as soon as I connected haldex everything on drive train can showed dtc, thats why i'm wondering even if it's not coded everything work ok since there is no errors, so i would go for a test drive, but since there is no errors now which is weird maybe everything will work just fine

It has byte 14 bit 7 enabled which is marked as 4x4. Also this should clear the TPMS error. (Maybe

You cannot just copy the coding from another cars ABS module as the ABS coding has parts of the cars VIN embedded into it.

Seems that byte 6 and 14 are coupled so if you change the other, the other needs to be changed as well. And these are mirrored so that byte 6 bit 0 becomes bit 7 in byte 14.
