Error codes after changing radio

Hi!

A few days ago I ordered my ross-tech cable :), I hope to receive it soon.

A few weeks ago I decided to change the basic radius of my 2015 Jetta SE 1.8T, by an original RCD510 radio with support for rear view camera, manufactured by DELPHI china.
the radio works perfect.

this is the old radio.

a friend who has the cable ross-tech made a scan and found several errors related to the radio, I think they appeared when I made the change, he deleted the error and made a new scan and the errors reappeared.
I must clarify that in the "installed" tab of VCDS only "2E: Media Player 3", "Radio" and "Telephone" appear, the only thing related to the radio.

Hi

Firstly go into 19 CAN Gateway and remove the tick for 2E media player. That should remove that error.
The remaining errors relate to the new stereo. Do you have a reversing camera installed? If so, is it aftermarket?

I unchecked 2E: Media Player 3 in the CAN Gateway Installation list and then I run an Auto-Scan.

the error changed by another, then I activated again 2E: Media Playe 3 in the installation list of CAN Gateway and made a new auto-scan, clarifying that after the previous auto-scan I deleted all the errors.
the new auto-scan shows no errors in the CAN Gateway module.

Regarding the reversing camera, this is coming, it is an OEM reversing camera, I hope to have it installed next week.

The fault codes on the radio suggest that the treble speakers are not connected to the radio, have you checked the wiring?

With these radios, the bass and treble speakers are powered by the FL and RL outputs, these are shared. There is no separate output for bass and treble speakers.

I wonder if the new radio is coded correctly then?

Specifically I'm thinking whether an external amplifier is fitted or not? If the new radio is coded for there NOT being an amplifier but the car HAS an amplifier (so the speakers are not wired directly to the radio)...

my jetta does not have tweeters, maybe the radio is not coded correctly as you think, my jetta only has 4 speakers on the bottom of the doors, I think my jetta has the basic speaker system.

I have not modified the radio, I have only entered the module to see if the reversing camera function is active.

How should it be modified with VCDS?

You could have a look at 56 radio --> coding --> long code helper, and see what options you have for all the bytes.

I found an option in the radio module to deactivate the tweeters, I have cleaned the errors and now everything is fine
