Got a 2007 Bentley with a parasitic drain and noise on coms, which we are in the final stages of proving to the Telephone Control Module (stripping to access it is no fun!). As the owner does not use said dated unit he'd rather not replace it with a new unit of the same dated design, and just remove it!
Question is this, do any of the other units need to be coded to say it's gone to avoid errors being stored (ie TPMS, Radio, CAN Gateway/Integration ECU (this vehicle does not have navigation))
If so, any clues on which ECU need to be modified and hints about the new codings needed please?
If not, are the errors going to create other issues (beyond being stored - ie keeping an ECU awake and causing a parasitic drain!)?
The low voltage and other errors appear to be related to the car having drained flat, and clear/road test ok ...except:
This one within the TPM, although it displays information fine, and the relearn feature triggers display messages too. Does the DIP (Driver Information Display) have it's own address for diagnostics?
Is this one of those "features" for this model, and it can be ignored or is a result of incorrect coding/configuration?

PS Already sent via email the ECU scans for label file creation, except the ABS, which does not use the usual security code 4...8, is there an alternative code I can try to pull a file from that ECU to send over for you at RossTech?
