    Turn assist without in-bumper fogs

    Hello,

Is it possible/sensible to enable turn assist on vehicles that don't actually have the fog lights in the bumper?
The reason I ask is because the ones in the bumper are low enough to actually help when turning.
While the fog beams in the headlights may or may not work all that well, even if it may be possible to enable them.

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

There is no blanket answer to this question. This really depends on the car.

    The Auto-Scan would be helpful.

Thank you, I think I already have the coding, I was just looking for feedback on usefulness, maybe from someone that had done it already.

I did find this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NkI-rZaThY4&vl=en

For the sake of closure, even if it’s late, I ended up doing it and it works great.

The Tiguan has fogs in the bumper and when cornering, this feature is great, as it illuminates the corner nicely.
I was reluctant to try it on the Q3, because the fogs are in the headlight, but I’m glad I did, because it works great.
It’s just as bright as the Tig, I love it.

D-dub: I'm writing this without my Putin-face, but if somedude had a MQB platform vehicle. I suspect he did this in the BCM:

    Leuchte12NL LB45-Lichtfunktion B 12 > Abbiegelicht links
    Leuchte13NL RB5-Lichtfunktion B 13 > Abbiegelicht rechts

You should have read the thread, d-dub, before posting a snarky comment.
I wasn’t asking for coding, fyi.
