Can I use a HEX-V2 on two computers?

Hi,
I ordered a HEX V2 and it should be delivered soon.
Now I realised that I want to use it on the car(s) with my old notebook but I always go online and do my thinking with my PC -
1) Can I use the VCDS software on two computers? (I presume I would have to plug the HEX into whichever computer I was using?)
2) Does the HEX V2 store the diagnostic info so I can read it out on my PC? Or at least can I save it as a file and then open it in the VCDS program on my PC?

Yes use it on as many computers as you like. The information is saved locally so not on the hex v2 itself.

I use my HEX-NET on two PCs (tablet and desktop), what I do is save the VCDS log and debug files from the tablet (which is what I usually use in the car) onto a shared network drive (I have a WD NAS drive) from the tablet and copy them into the same folder on the desktop.
