Hello,

We have a 2018 Audi A5 that we are looking to disable the auto hill hold on the car. The car does not have the auto hill assist button next to the parking brake button. There appear to be a few options under adaptations that could change the hill hold function, but it needs security access, and a security code does not auto appear as it does on other Audi models. There also doesn't appear to be any documentation for the long coding helper, as all of the options are blank.

Unfortunately, neither code allowed access to the module. I also am not seeing anything directly described as AUTO HOLD functionality; there are a few things pointing to auto hold settings, like "auto_hold_seatbelt_evaluation" or "brake direction holding function".

Those are security access codes that may or may not work.

With the help of this thread, I was able to confirm that 40168 was a working code on the ESP9 module. While this did enable security access, I wasn't able to disable hill hold on the car. I changed "IDE09541-Brake direction holding function" to OFF, but the car was still holding on hills. I also changed "IDE09539-Tripping threshold for start-up assist." to Late, but couldn't tell if that made any difference. Any other ideas on what setting might enable hill hold to be turned off?
