I recently fitted Auto folding mirrors to my 59 S3 , now i have used the correct modules ending in 801p +802p , and the mirrors seem to work fine other than when i lock my doors they don't fold in or unlock they don't fold out .
My are problem is my door looms dont seem to work now either , as i have door handle lights , led hazard lights and puddle lights which now dont work but the looms are the ones from my 59 plate S3 .
So now is there any other coding needing to be done other than just ticking the box for Auto folding , i am a novice at the Vcd's so any afvice would be appreciated .

there's probably also some coding for the hazard and ambied lights, but I'm not sure what they are.

Sorry lads that I was unable to get this word wrapped to make it smaller , as I copied this straight from my computer and not whilst using Vcd's but will post another one up later tonight once I put doorcards back on as I removed them again to check there was no breakages in wires on looms, what I did notice on 1 off the looms was it had part # 8P3 971 036 Q ( drivers ) + ( passengers ) 8P3 971 035 S , now I did a little digging and found that the passengers loom fits my car but couldn't find anything about the 036Q other than Ebay which a person had said it was from a rear 5dr Sportsback now would this be a problem as it has all the connections I need for my doorcard parts . hopefully someone knows cheers in advance

Just a quick update i got the car coded but wasn't sure about some off the things described in module there meaning ie safe motor not installed , i was thinking is this something to do with USA models as a friend mentioned it might be .

Install correct modules, recode and no codes or FOD, if not live with functionality & with possible error codes or experiment with tables to achieve goal, maybe see if SVM will fix it than make a saved auto-scan.

Auto folding mirrors don't fold by the use off Key fob , they only work with Switch in drivers door as the A3/S3 8p was never designed to have Auto folding wing mirrors
