Hard to say what's going on without seen an Auto-Scan first.

I guess not. The instrument cluster might be UDS so no automatic SRI reset is possible at this point.

I’ll send a full scan when the Mrs gets back in a bit. Sorry I should have done this in the beginning.

Oh, automated reset is possible on most UDS clusters -- if you're using the English version of VCDS and are willing to settle for the simple reset that we implemented and tagged "NAR only" because some of our European associates claim that's "not good enough", despite the fact that it most certainly works.

Easiest way of resetting the interval to 365days/10k (miles) .. I use it all the time!

The NAR Reset for UDS clusters does not change or set the intervals. It is a true reset; it simply sets the "distance since" and "time since" channels to 0. So whatever the intervals were before the reset is what they will still be afterward.

However, this is can indeed be contrary to the factory's recommendation, especially at the first service and first inspections, where their scripts might indeed change the intervals. This is why some people deem it "not good enough".

But it will get the darn "Service Due!" warning to go away.
