Retrofitted direct TPMS to Polo 6R

Just a retrofit update: TPMS direct (HEX 65) fitted on a Polo 6R.
Needed is quite a recent PQ25 BCM (7E0 937 090B or higher) due to address 65 in the gateway.
I'm not the first one to discover it, nor the first one to retrofit it, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to show it here, on the home of VAG retrofitting.

Hi. Sorry to resurrect old post, but it seems relevant.

I'm toying with retrofitting direct TPMS to my 2011 T5.

I've found what I think would be the right BCM, a 7H0 937 090 D PQ25.

And the receiver and senders mentioned are fairly easy to source.

Questions...
How easy it it to swap the BCM? Do I have to copy existing coding to new BCM?
What does the receiver plug into?

Received connects to extended can connection

You can also use 5Q0 907 273 antenna, and have it flashed to 3AA s/w

Receiver has CAN power train high and low, gnd and +30. You'll have to edit some of the parameters of the tpms module to make it work with your transporter. This cannot be done with vcds but needs a different program (rdks + vcp/odis).

Bcm / gateway should have address 55 and cluster should have sw 608 or higher (iirc)

Bcm swap:
Autoscan
Adapmaps of 09, 19 and 61
Swap in new bcm
Copy old coding to 09 19 and 61
Restore adaptation channels of 09 19 and 61
Restore gateway installation list
Match remote controls

This should be enough to install 090D bcm in case you currently have a 7H0 937 089x/090x bcm.
Otherwise it might require some more wiring...

My current BCM is an 87, and with the possibility of wiring changes and having to adapt the receiver I think this is a bridge to far for me.

I'm just going to turn on indirect TPMS using my VCDS. I'll somehow manage to live without the PSI indicators of the direct system!!!
