    Audi S3 8v rear lights

    Hi,

I am new to this website and not sure if this has been posted elsewhere,so apologies. My Audi S3 8v rear left light is different to the driver side rear light when driving. I am not sure what I have done but when the lights come on,they both work fine but the left rear light has another light on and the right one doesn't. I'm not sure what you call the light, I think it's call the parking light? I was wondering if anyone knew the coding of VCD of this problem to take it off?

Kaiser: lots of possible causes for your observation - best way to start is to post an Auto-Scan so people can see how your car is equipped and how the modules are configured.

    Hi,

    Here is the scan:

    Code:
Removed. Data from a clone/pirate copy of VCDS is not welcome here.
Any advise on the coding would be much appreciated! I just want the left rear fog light turned off when I drive, it always seems to be on for some reason.

Getting help on this forum requires the use of a legitimate VCDS system.

They are available directly from us:
    https://store.ross-tech.com/shop/cat/VCDS

... Or from any of our authorized resellers:

Let us know via PM if/when you get one so we can adjust your forum status.

The engineering problems are likely insurmountable. It would be like proposing to land a rocket booster section on a barge floating in the middle of the ocean.

You may want to look for a more honest garage to take your car to then.

A garage that uses illegal rip-off copies of VCDS?

And you then get upset with the person who has spent years building a business creating and supporting VCDS (Uwe) and does no more than protecting his hard work?

You need to look in the mirror and ask yourself why you are not getting angry with the dodgy garage...
