I have a 2015 Euro version Audi A1 Sportback with a 1.4 TFSI motor.

Does anyone happen to know where a possible turbo cool down timer setting tweak might be?

Probably to cool the turbocharger for a longer time after the engine has been shut off. Hence (possibly) extending its life expectancy.
