Replacing door lock/actuator in 2014 Passat

Replacing door lock/actuator in 2014 Passat. Programming required?

I have to replace the rear passenger door lock/actuator. It does not lock and rear driver lock activates whenever I go over 10 mph. Dealer tells me passenger lock needs to be replaced. Its also causing driver side lock to activate. Is any programming involved after lock is replaced? Dealer alluded to programming after quoting me $600 to replace.

Programming? I don't think so. It might have to be coded, but I think that would be a copy the old module's coding and paste it into the new one deal.
