You were right :-( Not working after dealer Cruise Controll Enable :-(
So i coded all and there are lot of acc errors.
Central Electric i already correct it.
Now i have to try one of this radar, do you have exactly one PN, what is trully working ?

I have 541 L ending radar.

You probably need to update your gateway software as well. It is quite low index so there probably will be a lot of missing message errors even after fitting a suitable radar.

Oh and also in worst case your instrument cluster is too old and does not contain graphics for ACC

OK, gateway is no problem to update. I have Vag Can Pro or ODIS.
Instrument cluster - i have with color display and already activated and there is ACC so it seems ok.
I will have on the way 541G or J from my supplier...

How do you know there’s ACC? You cannot see it until you actually have it working, only after that you will have the ACC icon visible. Before that you will have cruise icon colored yellow with an exclamation mark.
Enabling it in the coding tells you nothing.

Look, I understand you’ve read the few articles in the internet and so on. None of them tell you what you actually need as it all depends what is your car year, what equipment level from the factory etc.

In my case I had to swap ABS block, stalk set and instrument cluster to just make ACC work. On top of that ACC radar and cables.
Total cost was somewhere close to 1500€. Biggest individual cost was the cluster being almost 800€. I wanted a new cluster so I could have correct kilometers on it as from 2014 you cannot change the kilometers with anything due to a new scheme chip called Johnson Control.
So just that you know what might be the worst case. The cluster was a surprise to me which I found out only after everything else was installed and activated.

I will check to what sw index you can go as you seem to have Lear as the gw manufacturer.

I had the same error after installing ACC. The reason was too old software in the gateway. Update your gateway SW and you'll get rid of the error

Use VCP, works fine. 530AF 1224 is for Lear gateway which if I remember correctly from autoscan you have. I upgraded mine to that but I had 530 F originally. You have lower index than that so I’m not 100% sure if it will go up to AF.

Last time i bricked very expensive HVAC :-) so are you (or someone here) sure, that i can really put there AF 1224 ? I have in gateway 1072 and it seems that for this type it is highest SW :-/

Gateway is one of the cheapest modules. You can get 2nd hand gw modules for around 50€. Of course there’s the added trouble that you need to get cp removed and fecs returned to the new module.

The error messge you’re having does not affect functionality in any way, it is only a nuisance.

Yes true, but if you brick gateway, you cant go to Audi, but they have to pickup you and then find new gateway and then swap GW, CP, Coding, Fec enablements etc :-) Not for 50 EUR :-)
So probably i will live with this error for now and if i find firmware what is exactly to my gateway, i put it there!

I also bought (waiting for delivery) folding blinkers in mirrors, Carplay for good price, and nice strips for front grille. I put here sopme pictures then.

There are not heated mirrors. I have to buy only switch and glass ? Is this connected only in door unit or to central electric ? Did you make some like this ?

And I would like to really thank you for your time and help.

Why can’t you go to Audi? Ok if the gw bricks and the car does not start, well that’s a problem of course but you can arrange the car transportation to Audi yourself and you can bring them a second hand GW which they will swap and remove the CP etc.
You can ask confirmation from VCP forums that can you upgrade the gateway. There’s more fw updaters around. If they can’t confirm either, then just leave it and maybe upgrade the gw to second hand 530AF one.

Question on Carplay. Does your head unit support that? I was under the impression that it is from model year 2016 onwards on Audis as well?
You cannot inject legally purchased carplay to a hacked headunit.

Yes, gateway loses the parameterization when flashing. Use that parameter file, that is correct one.
