Hello there,


I try to solve a Skoda Scout coding issue after the person tried to code with a chinese clone VCDS.
In order to solve all the coding issue i had to modify byte 18 to make the parking light on.
I add there a value witch i found it on a forum 1B but i still receive some bulb errror warning.
I attached you the autoscan if anyone can provide me a good value for this byte in order to test it.

The tail light has the correct bulbs,incandescent.
They try to activate cornering and closing windows on rain sensor with that clone vcds and after that everything went crazy.
They didn't keep the original coding so i had to make it manually.I try only to setup to eliminate all the issues.
The only issue witch remains it's this one.

In that case the best bet for you is to ask someone with ODIS to reset the module back to factory standard. Either a dealer or an independent garage with ODIS online can do this for you.

I agree, ODIS would be best but it may mask the value after correction so the real value may still be unknown.

We have several unconfirmed SK35 chassis values in that label so if you want to experiment, with a battery charger connected, you might try these:

I solve the issue.
After a lot of documentation and forums I found out that the correct coding for Skoda on this kind of module it’a 0B.
Now everything works as expected.

Excellent! I added a commented out line to that label:
;LC,18,0~7,0B,Lighting: Octavia Combi Scout (1Z5/SK35) Rest of World / Left Hand Drive / Xenon-Shutter DRLs

That won't show in the Long Coding Helper because I'd like to bounce this off of the rest of the team first.

In the meanwhile, I believe the DRLs are via Xenon bulb but do let me know if that model had factory DRLs elsewhere (like LED strips or conventional bulbs).
