Coding for door lock on 03 VW

hey guys, I have an 03 golf 4 door. the only "power option" I have is for the door locks. I tried to get into section 46 in VAGCOM to adjust the door locks to unlock when I pull from the ignition, but there is no response from controller when I try that section. Why would that be?

So this car has manual crank windows? In that case, the locks are at 35-Central Locks, not 46-Central Conv.

I actually went into 35, increased the value to 00019, from 00018. All that did was allowed me to unlock all of the doors with one twist of the key, in the drivers door lock.

Have you looked at the Adaptation Channels starting at roughly number 03? They should look something like this.

I think in VCDS that's 0x35-10-01 to change assailant entry/open but that might be for 0x46 cars.

Could you post a scan of just 0x35 and 0x46 if they both exist please?

The first time I tried it, I went into controller 35, and clicked "coding" changed a value in there to 00019, which unlocks all of the doors with 1 twist of the key as I stated above.

Had a few minutes today to go outside and I did what UWE suggested and went into adaptaion, channel 004, increased value from 0 to 1, saved, removed key from ignition and CLICK! all doors unlocked.
