Unable to access block 01, updated to 18.2.1, then the HEX+CAN was updated when I first started with the car. It is a post fix resale, but I wanted to check the DEF tank level before sending the kid out on a road trip, which needs the address 01 advanced meas to work. Checked that interface was working on a 2014 Beetle, closest I had to the 2015 Jetta, Able to check ash loading, and all the 01 block functions worked. Looking for the EV_ECM20TDI01104L997016B wasn't found, only EV_ECM20TDI01104L997016.rod, EV_ECM20TDI01104L997016_M.rod and EV_ECM20TDI01104L997016E.rod were found.
