I've read the rules for Uwe's Bar and I can find no overt prohibition on using it to place bets on sporting outcomes. But on the assumption that such activity would be not in keeping with the forum's value-set - I'm reticent to start a book on the world-cup results.
So - for those who have an interest in round-ball sports, what is your prediction for the winner (Croatia, or France) and the final score?
My guess: France 2-1
