Hi,
This is my first post and I apologies if don't place it in the right place.

A couple of months ago I bought a Ross-Tech VCDS HEX-V2 USB Home Plus Bundle (3 VIN), which I have used and it seems to be working fine, but since a few days ago, after I tried to do "Output Tests - 03", I have not been able to access the screen 17-Intruments properly again, it takes longer, all the fields appear blank and most of the buttons are greyed.

The scan has also changed, it does no longer record the milage and section 17-Instrumentation appears blank

Those D3 A8 clusters have been known to get in a mode where they are unresponsive to diagnostic requests. To fix: Find a way to remove all power from the cluster; either disconnect the vehicle's battery for a bit, or disconnect the cluster itself from the car, or pull the relevant fuse(s).

It worked, I pulled the instrument cluster fuses and onboard power supply fuses, and all the information was back on the controller.

Thank you
