Can VCDS give me details of my car usage between certain dates.

I took my Golf R to a local VW dealership as the catalytic converter developed a fault. I had to leave it with the dealership for 5 days as I was going to hospital . The day after picking my car up I realized that they had used half a tank of fuel. When I checked the paperwork I noticed they had recorded the Mileage when I dropped it to them, at 3994 when I noticed the fuel loss the milometer was reading 4178. I live on a small island and had driven less than 30 miles since collecting my car. The dealership is claiming that the figure they wrote down is a typo and that they never drove it. Can VCDS prove they did drive it between the dates I was away and when I picked it up 5 days later? If so I will order one straight away.

Thanks in advance for any help. cheers.
    Old guy.

    Lightbulb

As far as I know, it is possible through "Freeze frames", just like:

The best suggestion would be to wait for people with more experience.

    What year Golf R?

Maybe in the battery history, if the car supports it, which is far from certain (e.g. my 2016 does not).

The engineering problems are likely insurmountable. It would be like proposing to land a rocket booster section on a barge floating in the middle of the ocean.

It is a 7.5 Golf R bought new last October hence the very low mileage. I ordered it last june 12 and collected Oct 16 so latest model. London, England UK. Though I live on the island of Guernsey in the channel islands.

"Latest model" is meaningless. What's the VIN?

Does the Infotainment have any diagnostic mode where you can see session ID's? I ask because I noticed on the Audi MMI you can view session ID's which also have a date and time. No mileage info, but the date and time corresponds when the car is woken up and in use.

Edit: Here's a screen grab of a post I made on another forum

    OK, so that's a 2018 model car.

Maybe someone can run that and get us a PR-Codes list.
