Scratching head. These are definitely defined in the ASAM/ROD data for your BCM:

IDE08542-ENG116652 Access control 2 - Funk Komfort oeffnen
IDE08542-ENG116651 Access control 2 - Funk Komfort schliessen
IDE08542-ENG122994 Access control 2 - Menuesteuerung Komfortbedienung einstellbar

What method are you using to locate them?

The engineering problems are likely insurmountable. It would be like proposing to land a rocket booster section on a barge floating in the middle of the ocean.

Right, but the unfiltered list is rather long and it's hard to find stuff in it.

Are you using the 'Search' box to narrow it down, like this?

Instead of 'ESI' try 'Komfort' since that's common to all three of the ones you haven't found.

dhpress: Hi- one of the rare pleasures in my unremarkable existence is taking every opportunity to steal Uwe's thunder (yes, I know that I should get a life)!! So,thankyou for providing this opportunity and I hope that my suggestion below is correct!

From the code-string on the BCM in your auto-scan, I suspect that your car has HID fittings. This means I hope, that the DRLs are controlled on your NAR model car by the Leuchte-sets Leuchte2SL VLB10 (left-side) and Leuchte3SL VRB21 (right-side).

Now - the next bit is a complete guess because I find American accents difficult to understand (this is purely my failing). When you say "now lets try the drl's on with turn signals (DRL's on w/ blinkers)" - I'm guessing that you want to disable what's more commonly known as DRL wink (i.e. the process whereby the DRL illumination is dimmed/extinguish on the side where the turn signal is operating).

If my translation of your request to Aussie speak is correct, try this:
    1. Select the BCM (@ address hex09)
    2. Select Security Code
    3. Enter the magic number 31347
    4. Select adaptation
    5. Search for "ENG115955" and select ENG116938-ENG115925-Leuchte2SL VLB10-Lichtfunktion G 2,
    6. IF and only if the setting for this channel is Blinken links aktiv (beide Phasen), change to not active
    7. Search for "ENG115944" and select ENG116939-ENG115944-Leuchte3SL VRB21-Lichtfunktion G 3
    8. IF and only if the setting for this channel is Blinken rechts aktiv (beide Phasen), change to not active
    9. exit vcds

^^^^ No, you didn't miss anything - your screenshot means that your car isn't programmed as per the NAR model mk7 that I used in my reply (damn, I didn't steal Uwe's thunder after all ).

So, now the question is which Leuchte-set controls the DRLs in your car? I've taken a second guess at this (again using information from my NAR database) and I have altered my response above. Try again - please (hopefully, thunder will be thieved this time)!
