Adjusting matrix headlight activation speed

Hi,

I'm looking to adjust the activation speed of the matrix headlight high beam on my 2018 S5 (UK model). Much as I did with the high beam assist on my older B8.5 A5, it will suit the roads around here better with a lower activation speed.

I have done a scan of the adaption map for module 'A5 - Frt Sens. Drv. Assist' and it shows two likely entries for this:


However, when I open the controller and go to adaptions these fields are not listed at all, to even try changing them.

What have I missed? Do I need to login first? I haven't been able to find a code yet.

Have you checked other modules involved for any adjustable adaptations?

That's puzzling. I can't think of any reason why something that shows up in a map wouldn't show up when you try to access it directly.

You have posted Adaptation maps, from something that is not in the Autoscan of your car (from a MQB Model):

SW:5Q0-980-653-G HW:5Q0-980-653 --- Frt Sens. Drv. Assist

You have this for Address A5: Frt Sens. Drv. Assist (R242):
SW: 8W7 907 217 A HW: 8W7 907 217 A

Aarghh!! I got my files mixed up! Sorry! That explains the discrepancy. It was from a TT I had for a couple of days.

That still leaves me trying to find a setting for the switch on / off speed.

I will have to remove my autoscan post too, and sort out the correct files. Can't believe I managed to do that!
