I have a solution that has been tested as working one for this particular steering rack with crash shut down activated.

You need to flash the steering rack to 144M first and then downgrade it back to 144J. Flash is to be done in following order:

    1. 2Q1909144ZT BOOT
    2. 2Q1909144M frf file
    3. 2Q1909144ZU BOOT
    4. 2Q1909144J frf file
    5. Online parameterization and coding using ODIS. Mandatory step.

This is 100% verified and working solution.

Can be done if you have the steering rack dataset. Which unfortunately is not available.

So at the moment only ODIS online.

You can get them for free from : https://erwin.seat.com//showHome.do

Register (free), go to product selection, show all products, ODIS offboard diagnostic and there choose flashfiles zip.
