Hello,
Here is a recent repair of my wife's Audi A3, see fault codes and repair solution below:
(Maybe helpful to other's in the future)

Concern:
Fault codes:
The Fix (solution):
Using VCDS, fault codes where checked, noticed the Freeze Frame Voltage, as low as [0.00v].
- Next used VCDS to monitor the ECM voltage in Measuring Value Block group [004], field (2)-Supply Voltage, found voltage was [0.00v]
- Wiggle tested the [458](J271) relay in the engine compartment fuse box (see pic) and saw the voltage went back to battery voltage.
- - Replaced the relay/fuse box [1K0-937-124-K], verified repair, three days and 50+ miles - so far so good
Note: It appeared the terminal(s) were loose and the current load was not able to be supported, nothing burned or discolored was found, see photos.
Conclusion:
- Even though this seems like it was quick and easy repair and I was able to go directly to the source of the concern, this was all made possible due to the ability to read between the lines and knowing how the system works (wiring diagrams). Given the information within the fault codes and freeze frame data, this led me to check the Measuring Value Blocks and a 'wiggle test, as this was all pointing to a voltage concern.
- So I recommend to take the few moments and look at all the information, it could save you a lot of time and money, glad I did not replace the ECM...

Here is a recent repair of my wife's Audi A3, see fault codes and repair solution below:
(Maybe helpful to other's in the future)
Vehicle:
Vehicle Identification No: WAUMF78P86A065608
Model: Audi A3 Sportback 2,0 FSI
Date of production: 16.09.2005
Year: 2006
Sales type: 8PA52X
Engine Code: BPY
Transmission Code: HUT
Axle drive: 6A
Concern:
Vehicle started fine, drove about 1000 feet, stopped at a stop sign, attempted to accelerate and vehicle started to loose power and stumble.
Check engine light was flashing and then vehicle was able to pick up speed and drive for about 1 mile. Upon deceleration, vehicle stalled, would not restart.
This is the 2nd time this happened. See fault codes below.
- Note: Both the [167](J757)'191-906-383-C' and the [458](J271)'1K0-906-381' relays were replaced (Genuine Audi parts) as a prior repair attempt.
