Change behavior of ASC/ESP button?

It's not the same thing. My present code on byte 29 is 8A and my screen options are active/asr off/esp sport. In the screen shot you're showing, option 8 is active/esc sport/esc off. So obviously it doesn't correspond. I already have the byte 8A, so are you suggesting that i change it to the exact same byte, meaning 8A and that will somehow solve it? Obviously that won't work.

No, you didn‘t read correctly, nor have you investigated the screenshot.
You need to change the LSB, so your current value changes from 8A to 88 or whatever options you want.

This is clearly visible in the screenshot as well, where the corresponding values are starting with zero indicating that the MSB are untouched.
