    No ROD file - VW T5.1 2012 2.0 TDI

    Im having a issue with this 2012 T5.1 Transporter, I cant reset the service light because no ASAM data or rod file found in 17- Instruments

    Can anyone help?

    Do you know any history of the Van? Was the cluster modified in anyway? That Asam ID looks corrupted/altered.

    I had a feeling that it might be something like the mileage has been rolled back or someone has been fiddling,

    Customer has only owned the van for 6 months.

    Is there any way to copy and alter the rod file to match the cluster so I can reset the service light correctly?

    No, somebody who usually tweaks clusters/mileages should be able to fix it - other than that, install a new cluster.
