Hello everybody,

If anyone might be able to provide information (Adaptations and Measuring value Block) on your 5F module with the RMC Radio (RMC Cnct Sir) and with the 7K6 ABS module, I would be very grateful.
I have been trying to find a way to enable TPMS menu in the RMC radio to no avail.

If you happen to have a Q3 with this combination Radio + TPMS module, please post your adaptations and MVB to help identify the coding and parameters required to enable the TPMS menu.

Thank you very much for any information you might be able to provide.

Best regards, somedude

It may not add any clarity (wrong body, ABS type and PR-Code) but

https://forums.ross-tech.com/showthread.php?11751-AUDI-A1-2017

.. has 7K1 Tire pressure monitoring system.

Dana, thank you very much.

This A1 has just a few bits that are different than mine:
01000400004151470023000103010000000000
01000600028051070023000102010000010000

I will try one by one, hopefully one works.

As a side note, I finally managed to have a look at that Q3 Technik that I was hoping to get codes from, but it does not have TPMS. So I’m back to square one.

This A1 appears to have a module with a similar part number, but newer, maybe they are similar enough.
I will try the coding, though several have indicated that to enable the MMI menu for TPMS might be in an adaptation. I will post results once I try the codes.

Thank you very much!

Menu options in RMC are enabled/disabled via parameters in general.
This cannot be achieved via VCDS.

It might not apply to TPMS but I do think so...

Can you please elaborate on that?
What kind of "parameters" do you mean?

For other vehicles, I found references to the green menu, where under the "car" option there should be access to "RDK" - Reifen Drueck Kontrolle, TPMS.
I do have access to the green menu, but I am completely missing the 'car' menu, so I was unable to find anything in there related to RDK.

If you can provide any pointers, I would be very thankful.

You can completely forget about the green menu for the RMC case. It is not possible to affect the CAR menu with that.

Parameters does mean not coding or adaptation but just pure configuration data directly written to the control unit.
That is the only possibilty to change the content of the CAR menu (for RMC).

VCDS is not able to change parameter data.

Thank you very much for the clarifications.

I apologize for insisting, but I need to have some closure.
The way I see it, there are to options:
1 No NAR vehicles are sold with this combination of parts while having TPMS. That means I should give up.
2 There are vehicles with RMC sold in the US, with TPMS (by law), in which case I could pursue my quest.

Being an optimist, also looking at economic reasons, I hope that 2 is the resonable option, also since they classify the cars as NAR and not US/Canada/Mexico, so I hope it may still be possible.
But logic tells me that you know what you are talking about, so I’m not very happy...

Thanks again for your input.

Sorry, I am just bumping this thread, hoping that enough time has passed and more info has become available for this module.

The fact did not change that things like TPMS are controlled via parameters for the RMC unit...you cannot achieve anything with VCDS here.
