Hi all,

I have a weird problem on a Skoda Fabia 2007 6Y.

First I should mention I have just changed the door lock mechanism in the drivers door, as the old one was faulty.
Now when unlocking the car both the front windows go all the way down. This happens every time. I haven't held in the button long, just a normal press. Is there some way to disable this feature in VCDS? I have looked in 09 Cent.electrics and 46 Central.conv, but nothing really stands out.

Any ideas that might help?

Regards,
Sean

Hi Sean

Can we have an autoscan please....

Sure, I will get that later on.
I can add that there might be an issue with the part number of the new lock. I should have 3B1837015AQ for the vehicle, but can't verify that the number of the new part is exactly the same. It could be that it is actually a door lock for a right hand drive vehicle, which would mean that it is actually a passenger door lock.. I'm wondering if this might have some bearing on the problem? It does however lock and unlock the vehicle as it should, only thing is that it opens the windows when unlocking(normal press of the key) and there are no fault codes stored.
