Upgrade from RS-232 Adapter?

Hi there,
in 2010 I've bought a HEX+CAN-Adapter (RHC403323 rev. B) with RS-232 Interface and "official" serial-to-USB converter from a German company.
The company is unfortunately not a distributor anymore.
Is this adapter eligable for the upgrade programme?

In case it is possible to use the upgrade programme: May I still use the German version of the software with the new adapter?

The unit is up gradable from the Ross-Tech perspective. You should contact another German distributor to see if they will honor the upgrade. They are not required to do so.

If you do the upgrade through Ross-Tech in the USA, it will be English only.

We might take the matter to the boss and see what he says about getting a German license for you since you already had one. It's possible he would allow a German language activation.

Try one of the other distribs first.

Yes. If you get an upgrade directly from us, please contact me with your order number as soon as you have it, so that I can make some special notes on the order.

I've contacted some distributors in Germany but they are willing to do an upgrade only with an "native" USB adapter, not with the old RS-232 adapter, unfortunately.
