3 Control modules (AWD, Active Steering, and High Beam) none of wc has any signal/correction. Appreciate that.

Welcome to the forum.

You always post a full AutoScan of the vehicle in question. How to post an Auto-Scan

Whether there are any error codes or not. There is more useful system info in there, how the car is equipped and configured.

Your Autoscan is missing some elements which apparently have fault codes on them. Kinda hard to help when the problem is hidden from us.

On the settings for the Autoscan, is there anything in particular that needs to be checked/unchecked? It defaults to both aggressive mode and can’t rember offhand the other being selected.

Nope, on a car new enough to have a proper CAN Gateway (which yours does), you shouldn't have to do anything on the Auto-Scan screen except click [Start].

Anyway, I'm not seeing anything resembling the faults you originally described in your scan, so....:confused:

8E - Audi A4/S4/RS4 B6/B7 (2001 > 2008)

I thought the 8E B6/B7 platform didn't have a proper CAN gateway - at least the 3 off B6 S4s and the B7 RS4 I owned didn't and I always had to select the chassis type prior to running an Auto-Scan.

So maybe the problem is that Poodini is sometimes selecting a chassis type instead of letting VCDS gather module information automatically from the CAN gateway - meaning the Auto-Scan is incomplete and potentially meaningless?

That's correct, the B6/B7 cars do not. By this is a B8 and it does, so picking an incorrect, older chassis that doesn't could cause things to be missed.

Does this car have these modules?

Or did someone just mess up the Gateway's Installation List?

I would try:

[Select]
[19-CAN Gateway]
[Installation List]

Scroll through it and remove the check-marks next to those three modules, then

[Save Coding].

Cycle the ignition off, then back on, and run and post a fresh Auto-Scan.
