Correct, especially as you appear to have been selecting the wrong chassis type (B6/B7 instead of B8).

VCDS will interrogate the CAN gateway to determine what modules that THINKS are installed in your car.

See Uwe's post where he asks whether your car has the modules that cannot be communicated with - one example being is your car a quattro or front wheel drive?

That’s weird because based on my VIN I’ve been selecting 8K but it shows as B7 and not as B8!
Was going off what was explained in the YouTube vid.
I’ll rescan tonight minus selecting chassis type and will upload early tonight.

So if I’ve read this right, the main culprit looks to be CAN Gateway J533 with the 3 faults (high beam, awd, & active steering) showing the same error ie not communicating/ no signal

Not necessarily the culprit but an indication of the problem area.

Either:
a) your car doesn't have those modules and the CAN gateway has incorrectly been told that it does
b) there is a wiring problem meaning the CAN gateway cannot communicate with those modules
c) a fuse/fuses is/are blown which provide power to those modules

Whether a) is the problem can be decided if someone can (please?) check the options fitted using the VIN in the Auto-Scan.

Whether b) or c) is the problem is best determined by you taking a 1 hour subscription to erwin and downloading the WD (wiring diagrams) so you know which fuse/fuses to check and which wires to check.

I’m unfamiliar with this 1 hr subscription with Erwin re wiring schematics. Please elaborate.

Meantime, I’ll have a look at some older scans I saved to see if these faults have been ongoing. They aren’t necessarily affecting my ability to drive/overall performance. That said, I would like to have these resolved whether it falls under category A or B. Thanks for all your guidance!

That erWin is piece of cake, register there and then with VIN you have your car's data. Less than 10 bucks and one hour, it's enough so you can download even all pages there if you want.

So I tried that Audi link and attempted to create an account. However, it says that Audi’s AG standards for erWin is only available for the German market..

I just tried to log in to audi erwin with account i created in vw, and in Finland. Same account seems to work with Audi too, and up right corner you can choose what language you want for files. Hope this helps!!
